Accessibility

Effective June 15, 2026

A book should be easy to reach. So should the site that points you to it.

Wizard Press wants wizard-press.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including readers who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.

Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical standard. In building this site we use:

  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure;
  • Color combinations chosen for sufficient contrast;
  • Controls that can be operated with a keyboard, and visible focus;
  • Descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images;
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting, which turns off non-essential animation.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never quite finished. Some content may not yet fully meet our goals, and we keep improving as the site grows.
